Recipe for Easter royal mazurka
Grind a pound (45 dag) of young butter in a pot, add 12 egg yolks, a pound of sugar and a pound of flour, after mixing, add a spoonful of four pieces (1 tablespoon) of crushed bitter almonds to the mass after each yolk and drill the mass in the cold. place for a whole hour, and after drilling, place them on a baking tray lined with paper and greased with butter, to the thickness of a finger. The oven should be the same as for sponge cakes, i.e. good, but not too hot.
