THE BOOK IS IN POLISH
Reprint of the first preserved Polish cookbook, published in Krakow in 1682. The author was the chef of the Krakow voivode, Aleksander Michał Lubomirski, Stanisław Czerniecki. The book consists of three chapters and contains 333 recipes.
The first part presents meat dishes, the second chapter contains recipes for fish dishes, the last part of the work contains recipes for dairy dishes, pâtés, and methods of preparing cakes and cakes. Each of these parts, in addition to the hundred main provisions, contains a supplement, the so-called additament (ten more recipes for additions to the previously described dishes). The attraction of each chapter is the so-called chef's secret. The author dedicated the work to Helena Tekla Lubomirska, wife of Aleksander Michał.
The book is in Old Polish and translated into modern language.
