Reprint of the original from 1798. This work by an unknown author is attributed to Apolinary Wieczorkowicz (1661-1728) as one of four works that he published anonymously. Wieczorkowicz selected and prepared for printing the knowledge of 20 outstanding European Aesculapians, whose names are written right behind the title page. At the end of the book there is a subject index, which is very helpful when using the scientific work. Apolinary Wieczorkowicz himself joined the Franciscan order in 1680, although he was never ordained a priest. He was active in numerous monasteries in Poland and Upper Silesia as a monk.
