Graf_ika is a publishing house with soul - books with character.
It all started with the book "Wood construction and wood products in ancient Poland" by Zygmunt Gloger, developed and printed at home on a laser printer. The book was created in two copies - one was given as a birthday gift to a friendly collector, the other, offered at an online auction, aroused great interest and was immediately sold.
And that's when I realized - it's now or never, I'm starting a publishing house.
The Graf_ika Publishing House was founded in 2006 as a result of my passion for literature, printing education and my weakness for spending countless hours in flea markets and antique shops.

Graf_ika Publishing House was established out of love for old books and the desire to bring them back to life in the minds of modern readers. We deal primarily with reprints.
What is a reprint? This is a reissue based on scans of a book/old print already published, but in the same format and graphic design. Old books are priced and are a sought-after commodity, not only because of their material value, but also because of their substantive value. It is an invaluable source of historical, ethnographic, geographical and cultural knowledge.
Unfortunately, over the years, these books simply die/are lost. Over time, they deteriorate and fall apart. Our goal is to prevent this from happening. We save them, find missing fragments all over the world, so that at the end the work is available to modern readers in ordinary circumstances. So that these books do not disappear and continue to be an integral part of our culture. We try to make our children aware of what their ancestors or grandparents read.
The reprint gives a second life to valuable titles that, often forgotten, can shine with their former glory and, above all, be available to every reader.
Today, we can boast of almost 180 published titles, cooperation with museums and the production of original, custom-made patriotic gadgets.
